Rating: 5/5
Summary:
The story talks about a boy and how he is dealing with his mother who suffers from cancer, along with the bullying he gets from school, and one night a tree that looks like a monster came to him and told him a few stories in exchange the boy would tell him the truth.
Strengths
The story has a really deep meaning and message behind it and I like the fact that it has a very realistic ending, although there are many things that aren't very realistic and rather fictional.
Weaknesses:
I would have changed his relationship with his grandmother since they are on bad terms, I would also would like it of the main character were to stand up for him self when he was getting bullied.
My Opinion:
I love the story and I love that it doesn't have a happy ending like all the other stories and it really reflects the struggles that a person can go through.
