Mini Book Review

Rating: 3/5
Summary:
A wrinkle in time is about a girl who’s father was a scientist that wanted to touch the stars, he liked exploring the unknown and had a theory that there are multiple dimensions and people could simply travel across the universe if they tap into the right frequency. He died trying to figure it out one day and his daughter was left all alone and later she figures out what he was trying to do and that he was in trouble and needed to be saved so she takes her brother and her friend and they try to save him.
What I liked:
I liked the science and fantasy behind it, it was very interesting seeing how they connected the science of it into a heartwarming story.
What I did not like:
I didn't like how confusing it was when the author would suddenly shift from one setting to another, I get that that's the theme of the story but the constant shift made the story boring and confusing (at those certain parts)
What I learnt:
Not much because the story is a fantasy / sci-fi, but it does have some moral lessons about how faith and believing in somethings help in life.
How long did it take you to read the book?
It was my weekend read so I'll say about 2-3 days.
