Mini Book Review

Rating: 5/5
Summary:
During World War II, two teens, one a blind girl in Nazi-occupied France and the other a German orphan boy driven into service by the Nazi army. But it's also about war's tragedy, free will, moral relativism, and the importance of seemingly insignificant actions. The story revolves around characters who are affected in heartbreaking ways by the violence around them, and it raises the question of how much power human beings have over their own fates, and to what extent our lives are predestined by the world around us.
What I liked:
The genre of war and the moral of the story being that no one can control their fate and most of the time its predetermined.
What I did not like:
I know its supposed to be a sad story but it was very irritating how nothing is working out for them in the story
What I learnt:
How much control do humans have over their own futures, and how much is predetermined by the environment around us.
How long did it take to complete?
3 days.
