Who is your favourite character in the book?

Marilla Cuthbert was my favorite character while reading the book. She had the greatest character development and even though it was hard for her to show emotions, she still showed how much she cares for Anne through her actions.

Is it a happy or sad book?

The book was mostly happy, although it had sad aspects, it was an overall very happy and cheerful coming of age book that had a cozy atmosphere (and lots of funny mischievous scenes).

What kind of person would enjoy reading this book?

A person who feels down and wants to read a cheerful book. (Or a person who loves descriptive writing.)

Where did you get the book from?

I first read it at my old school’s library (read it both in Arabic and English).

What did you learn from this book?

I learned not to dwell on the past and focus on my present and future. I also learned to keep in touch with the people I love.

What would you change about the story?

I really wanted more in-depth background information about all the characters. The book only gave vague flashbacks about the side characters.
