Attack on Titan by Hajime Isayama

Summary:

There was a goddess named Ymir Fritz that had the power of titans or to make it simpler giants. When Ymir died her power passed on to 9 titan shifters aka people who can change into titans. When humanity was about to extinct due to the mindless titans that eat humans on the spot the people lived inside three huge walls built by Karl Fritz using numerous colossal titans.

Strengths:

The plot of the story is one of a kind, I have never seen nor read anything similar to this before. I loved this new concept which attracted me to continue reading. It was so interesting, and was an emotional rollercoaster where I experienced happiness, sadness, laughter and moments of rage.

Weaknesses:

The author wanted us to suffer with his work, it is a beautiful piece of work but there were so many sad moments, I thought that maybe the ending will make up for all the sad moments but no it was even sadder and heartbreaking.

My Opinion:

I absolutely loved the story it is well written and executed. It meant so much to me because of how beautiful it was. Yes it was sad but it was definitely worth the pain.
