Summary:

The story was about a girl that moved with her parents to a new village and the new house. In the beginning she didn’t really like that she moved because she couldn’t see her friends anymore and she didn’t like the house that much, but then she discovered a weird small door in the living room and she really wanted to know what was behind that door. One day when both of her parents wasn’t home she was looking for the keys and she found the keys, then she open the door that took here to a whole another world with all of her wishes coming True. She had everything that you always wanted and she had two parents that looked exactly like her real parents but with button eyes. After living few days with them and she really liked then her mother in the other world gave her button eyes and she wanted to sew Some buttons in her eyes, but she ran away and it was so hard for her to escape that place.

Strengths

I like the way the story was creepy but it was weird at the same time. The way that all of the things that she wanted was in the other world everything that she always wished for everything that every kid always wished for she had there but then she found that there was a lot of dead souls of dead kids in one of the mirrors and she knew that they were something wrong about that place but her mother helped her her real mother help her to escape all of that . I like the way that all of the sudden from the really really nice mother to a really creepy psychotic mother.

Weaknesses:

The weaknesses of the story was they didn’t actually tell us why is that word like that and from where was that World we didn’t actually know if it was an imaginary place or a real place and what happened to all of these kids that were stuck inside the mirror the souls of the dead kids what was happening what happened to them before Coraline discovers the New World. Who created the world and why did that person created the world all of these questions wasn’t actually answered in the book.

Opinion:

My personal opinion that the book was so good. It’s iconic mysterious and creepy which I really liked the details the places the imaginary seems that you could actually imagine without even seeing the scenes was so good the idea of sewing buttons and Caroline eyes was creepy and the way Caroline‘s mother Helter to escape the place was so nice all the mysteriousness behind the book was my favorite part of the whole book I would actually recommend to read the book.
