Daytime Shooting Star by Mika Yamamori

Rating: 5/5

Summary:

A country girl, named Suzume, moves to the city to stay with her uncle, leaving behind everything she was comfortable with. She gets lost in the city, and is rescued by Shishio, a friend of her uncle and her soon-to-be homeroom teacher. Around the same time Suzume meets Mamura, a shy boy in her class who has a fear of getting too close to girls. Predictably, Suzume falls for the super young and handsome Shishio, while Mamura eventually falls for Suzume, thus leading to the formation of you classic love triangle. The story unfolds to fix the issue of the love triangle and she decides which boy she should end up with.

Strengths

She left everything behind and how she is a social butterfly. I loved everything in the book yet there are still some chapters coming, every time your read a chapter you would want to buy the other chapters right away.

Weaknesses:

The story is relatively simple. The story has nothing new and has many clichés which have been overdone, but it is presented in a way that still refreshing and as a result, the plot continues to draw your interest.

My Opinion:

My personal opinion is that no matter what you leave behind or how much things you have to let go off, there are a lot of things waiting for you in the future.
