Rating: 4/5
Summary:
The main character (Meddelin) ends up in a situation where she needs the help of her mother and four aunties, even though she thinks they’re very clingy and bothersome. They help her hide her secret while working at a big family wedding.
Strengths
The story was very funny, the author understood how to write a thriller/mystery but still make it enjoyable and hilarious to read. I also liked the main character’s growth, as she starts to trust and love her mother and aunts.
Weaknesses:
I didn’t really like that the author added romance in the book, it seemed out of place. And the last plot twist wasn’t as shocking as I wanted it to be.
Opinion:
I loved the family dynamic so much. The mother and aunties really reminded me of my family, but more bazaar and dramatic. The main character grew to love and cherish herself and the people around her, and not feel insecure.
