Summary:

The main characters of this book are Greg Heffly and his family. Manny, his youngest brother, Rodrick, his oldest brother, and both of his parents. The story talks about Greg Heffely and his family when they went out of town for the holiday season to a place called paradise for some relaxation and rest, but the Heffly's soon discovered that paradise isn’t everything. It was one of the worst days they ever had, sun poisoning, stomach troubles, and embarrassing moments.

Strengths

I loved the story of this book so much because it was really funny and there was many things that happened that inspired me to read more, for example one of the funniest things I have found funny in this story was when Greg accidentally went to the wild side where only adults are allowed and all the security guards were running after him and poor Greg didn’t know what was happening.

Weaknesses:

Personally there is nothing that I didn’t like in this story everything was perfect. The story was really funny and fun to read that it had me laughing in tears at 3 am. Not only that, but, I loved this story so much that I told my whole family about it.

Opinion:

From all the 8 diary of a wimpy kid books I have read this must be my favorite one. It’s such a funny book with amazing details. In addition, the funny facial expressions they drew in the characters figures was what kept me reading on.
