Summary:
This book is not a story or a novel. It is a book that helps teach you how to be mindful. So basically, being mindful is forgetting the past and to not worry about the future and only focus on now the present. Because nowadays what a lot of people tend to do is worry about the upcoming unknown future when they should be thinking about now. Because when the future comes you will regret not living the moment. This book has great advices on practicing mindfulness.
Strengths
Amazing graphics, the thing I absolutely admire about Anna Barnes' books is the graphics and pictures. It gives the book a certain aesthetic in every page. It makes the book all the more interesting to continue reading it. Also the advices given are extremely easy and helpful. What's also great is that it isn't a big long book, its a small book that you can finish in one sitting. Also this is the type of book that you would always come back to read again and that is what I look for personally in a book. Here is a bonus: the author's books are translated into different languages so that everyone can read it. So this book and all Anna Barnes' books are a must have.
Weaknesses:
I can't really think of any weaknesses for the book. That is how much I love it. But what I could say is that this book is not for children below the age of 13 years old. That is because there are words that they would not understand and also because there are advices that people from age 14 to above would understand. Also as a book lover, I love books with hard covers, because they won't feel too fragile in your hands or the type that will get damaged over time if not well taken care of, and unfortunately this book is the type with a weak cover, so if you ever think to read it I would recommend reading it as a pdf or taking very good care of the book. Other than that I don't think this book has a weakness.
My Opinion:
As I mentioned before, this book is an absolute must have. This and all the author's other books. The books are aesthetically pleasing and the advices are easy and practical. So I would say this book is very much recommended by me. This book is something you can go back to multiple times and that is what I love about this book.
