Summary:

This is a story about 4 sisters (Meg, Beth, Jo, and Amy) who live a relatively simple life with their mother. The book explored there lives and mostly focuses on the main character, Jo, who is an aspiring young women who wants to become a writer.

Strengths:

The story shows the lives of different girls who have very different personalities but still manage to live together in love and hope. The book also touches on the girls struggles in society especially at that time period.

Weaknesses:

I wasn't very satisfied with the books ending. Jo's ending didn't make a lot of sense for her character and her characters development, it felt forced and out of the blue.

My Opinion:

I loved this book so much and would highly recommend to everyone. I loved seeing the four girls character development and how they grew into their own independent selves.
