Summary:

The story took the events of the four March sisters as they grow from childhood to womanhood. The novel describes how the four sisters struggled to meet society's expectations since they are females but somehow are filled with humor, charm and warmth.

Strengths:

The story is filled with moral values such as honesty, family unity, hard work and many more, which is an important strength. The story has interesting engaging characters which are fun to read about.

Weaknesses:

The novel was too long. The author wrote unnecessary small details which made the story quite boring. If I was the author, I would make the novel straightforward to the plot.

My Opinion:

The story was fun and interesting to read. It amazes me how gender streotypes which were mentioned in the story changed. It opens the readers eyes on how females should follow society expectations even though its unfair.
