Rating: 4/5
Summary:
The story is about a boy, Jacob, who was looking through his grandfather’s old stuff and he read stories about a house with weird children and monsters. He goes to try and find about the orphanage and starts spotting monsters and meeting the peculiar kids!
Strengths:
The author has added weird pictures to the chapters, which made it more interesting. I love how it was about fantasy and the kids had super powers which made it more interesting when they were trying to solve the loops problem.
Weaknesses:
At first it was hard for me to catch up with the new concepts of the magical world where there were loops and scary creatures that seemed to chase them and I had to figure them out by myself.
My Opinion:
I think it’s a very unique plot and I’ve never read something like it. I was introduced to a lot of new mystery theories that some people actually believed in, such as kids with super powers. I believe it’s a very out of the norm book that everyone needs to read it!
