Summary:

To start with, its important to know that this novel is not short, it contain multiple of volumes. The plot of the novel happens in a world where there is no hunger, no war, and no misery. Humanity have found the cure to all misfortune meaning that humans can live forever and death no longer exists. The humans in the world noticed the importance of death as the world is getting overpopulated, new babies are born day by day but there are no deaths to balance the equation , therefore, the society decides to have a group of people who are held responsible for this, they are the Scythes and they have to kill others in the price of saving the world.

Strengths of the story:

I liked the plot and the way the writer introduce the characters, the plot was especially interesting as I have never read something similar. I like the relationship between the three main characters and how the bond together even though they were awkward at first.

Weaknesses of the story:

I would say that the weakness of this novel is that it has a slow start and ca easily make the reader board. Sometimes there were a lot of details that aren't necessary.

My opinion of the story:

Overall, the book is not bad, it had a good plot but I wouldn't strongly recommend it especially to those who are new and haven't read a lot of novels before.
