Summary:
the 100: Day 21, is a book apart of the 100 book series. after being on the ground for 21 days, the 100 delinquents have come across a lot of obstacles like, facing there enemy while trying to find the people who have been captured by Mount Weather(a mountain base that has survivors from the nuclear war/apocalypse) while also trying to keep the group together and survive.
Strengths
I like that in this book the author digs more deeply into each character and shows their conflicts, the hard decisions they have to make in order to survive. Some characters had epic breakthroughs that changed my outlook on them and the transformation they had to go through from who they are and who they have to be to survive is very inspiring.
Weaknesses:
Personally the book didn’t have any flaws but me not reading the books in order has made it have flaws because now I'm aware that some characters that are alive in this part of the book series won’t be alive in the last part of the book series and thats very sad to know that the character will die in the end.
My Opinion:
Note: The 100 book series has been amazing to read but I didn’t read the books in order so it was very confusing to read the books in between when I had already read the last part :\ , to be honest though I thought the author did a time jump which kept me reading the story till the end instead of leaving it and going in order. I recommend reading the books in its recommended order but going off the original order is also fun too. As always, reading one of 'the 100' books is spectacular. I don’t like the idea that I witnessed some deaths of the characters before reading this book but I guess its the journey that counts. The characters finally getting deep into their conflicts and survival is very suspenseful but more emotional than the other books.
