Summary:
The 100: Homecoming is a part of 'the 100' book series. back at the 'ark' (the spaceship that has 3 generations of people since the nuclear war/apocalypse) the oxygen is running out and they have a plan to send everyone down to earth but there are only a few dropships that only carry a fraction of the population while the rest are left to die. while on the ground, Clarke leads a group to go see who survived from the dropship that was sent down to earth, Bellamy decides whether to run away or stay and face the consequences of his crimes that he's done on the 'ark' before coming down to earth like shooting the chancellor(the person in charge of the ark) while Wells tries to force his authority as the chancellor's son which is not working.
Strengths
I like that in this book they dig deeper into the ark, I was always intrigued about the ark because in the first book introducing everything they mention but not in a deep- intense way.
Weaknesses:
Compared to other books in 'the 100' book series, this wasn’t the best. I prefer the other ones as they were more action packed and intense. this book didn’t give me the suspense I expected, Wells was an acceptable character at first I didn’t think much of his character but now I really hate his character because he's forcing something that he is so obviously not suited for.
My Opinion:
Personally, I thought the story could be better, maybe its because I've read more action-packed books of 'the 100' book series or this book is just boring. The only part that I really enjoyed was Bellamy's, he had a decision to make and considered so many factors and its like the author was persuading me to accept Bellamy's decision when she gives the pros and cons, its almost like even if he didn’t decide to stay I would’ve accepted his decision, it was a very impressive tactic to add in the story, I've never experienced this type of persuasion in a book. Overall, could be better but good.
