Cassie and Ben parish

Who is your favourite character in the book?

Cassie, because she's loving and caring but also a rebel. I like her character the most because of her survival skills and adaption to the challenges that were facing her, she was a very strong, affirmative women. And even when things got hard she still kept fighting to see her brother again.

Is it a happy or sad book?

I would say a little of both, its a sad book because of the departure of some beloved characters in the beginning but also happy because of the hopeful ending. During the beginning Cassie lost her mother and that was very sad but in the end she reunites with her brother and some other characters, surviving the madness of the apocalyptic events that had happened and it gave some hope which I consider happy.

What kind of person would enjoy reading this book?

People who enjoy apocalyptic books or survival trope also science fiction and even people who like thrillers because i would consider it as all 4 genres.

A friend recommended it to me.

What did you learn from this book?

In a deeper meaning, I learnt to see the light in hard times.

What would you change about the story?

The story was fantastic but it needed a little more originality in the beginning, but then again all apocalyptic books start the same.
