Rating: 2/5
Summary:
Scientists discover a secret that has existed since the dawn of time. Now it's up to two people to keep this secret hidden from a group who would go to whatever length to get it (even killing nearly the entire human race).
Strengths:
The Atlantis Gene is a science fiction thriller. There are a lot of action words in it, as well as certain scientific jargon. This mix makes it a bit more challenging to read, but it's perfect for advanced students.
Weakness:
I gave this book two stars because it has a positive *suggestion* of a storyline. I gave up at 38% of the way in. It's written in the style of a low-budget action film, not a novel.
My Opinion:
I can count on one hand how many books I've set down without starting, and this is one of them. I tried my hardest (and according to my Kindle, I got through 73% of the book), but it just made things worse.
