Summary:
This book is one of the book of a series of the diary of 13 year old Greg Heffley. In this book a sudden blizzard hits their town, shutting the family in their home and resulting in his dad staying in a hotel during work. At one point, the electricity goes off and his family becomes extremely cold, nearly running short on food. The book tells about all the adventure Greg goes through with his family and Rowley his bestfriend.
Strengths:
The book has many twists and turns which made the book humourus and fun to read. The comics between the lines made the book easier to imagine which was very interesting and entertaining.
Weaknesses:
I don't think that there is anything I would change in the book, it was very entertaining and joyful. Maybe it would be more interesting if it had more relatable stories to today's teens, but still it is still a great book.
My Opinion:
Personally I really enjoyed the book as I went through a similar experience once in a trip where the electricity cut off and it was frustrating. It was nice relating to the little funny stories in the book as I also have siblings.
