The Republic by Plato

Rating: 4/5

Summary:

Plato's Book, Republic, narrates the account of a journey in which different men meet and debate what is right . Plato used the Platonic method to provide questions that invalidate old beliefs and replace them with new, less conventional ones.

Strengths

The characters' strong, heartfelt words of wisdom stood out as a source of strength in this book. Some of them had a profound meaning for me, prompting me to pause and reflect before continuing to read.

Weaknesses:

Because most of the powerful words had a very sophisticated meaning, I had to go back to the dictionary to comprehend some of them, the book's weakness is oddly the same as its strength.

Opinion:

I really enjoyed the portrayal of wisdom and understanding in the second chapter. They were speaking in a persuasive tone that seemed to work its magic on the reader.
