Summary:

August is a boy who suffers from medical conditions that didn’t allow him to go to school until he started fifth grade. August faced many problems on his first days of school, where kids bullied him and refused to be friends with him, he then managed his way through it with his health struggles too!

Strengths:

It’s a book that will definitely leave everyone in tears, the way the writer presents to us the other side of kids with medical conditions and what they face and struggle with truly makes us sympathize with August and his family.

Weaknesses:

I didn’t dislike a lot of things in the book, the language in the book was simple which makes it great for kids. Maybe the only weakness it had is the other distracting plots such as his sister's point of view.

My Opinion:

It’s a very heartbreaking book that I lost time while reading it, August was such a fun character to look through from his obsession with Star Wars and his anger issues, how he coped with his illness and the bullying that comes with it.
