Summary:

This story talks about a little boy (Auggie) who is deformed, he has lived almost all his life at home with his mom and the company of his only friend which was a dog (daisy). He struggles so many things in a young age like insecurity's, doctor appointments, pills, socializing and so much more. Finally going into sixth grade his mom decided it was finally time Auggie goes to school. He struggles a lot in the beginning, but through the story he learns so much things and faces his biggest fears. He makes so much friends and has learned the true possessions of life.

What I liked:

I loved so many things in this book, the fact he faced so much in his life in such a young age makes me think I can do so much more. I love the way the author writes this story, every few chapters talks about another characters perspective in the situation. It really taught me not to look at one side of the story only. I've also loved how I experienced how life was like in Auggies shoes. Which got me doing deep thinking.

What I did not like:

I love everything about this book but if i had to change one thing it would be the ending, don't get me wrong it was amazing. I just wanted to know more about what's going to happen after the story has ended, more details and pages.

What I learnt:

I've learned so much from this story. I've learned not to give up no matter the circumstance, I've learned to be thankful for the little and big things I have in my life and appreciate it for all its worth, I've also learned to look at the story from more than one perspective before judging.

How long did it take you to read the book?

3 months.
