Summary:
It's an amazing book that talks about how ladies were treated in the past and how they were actually braver than men in the past. The main character is Qamar, who traveled around the world bravely. Qamar traveled dangerously in the waters, she faced slavery, danger, and hardships. She meets so many new and inspiring people either her age or older and learns a lot from them, tutors and friends. She lives, loves and travels from one place to another.
Strengths:
I liked how the book has inspired me and many other children/ women to never give up and to always have passion. I also liked how the author made the book so exciting to read and enjoy; it's like you want to jump from one chapter to another non-stop, happily!
Weaknesses:
I didn't like how the author made the ending quite sad. To know that the main character, Qamar, finally decided to quit traveling and go visit her twin sister Shams. But then she changes her mind to go search for her missing daughter. If I was the author I would end the book happily and for her to find her missing daughter and visit her family again, after this 30 years adventures, and tell them about everything that happened !
My Opinion:
I really liked the story it's extremely wonderful, I learned a lot! And above all, I enjoyed it so much. I learned to never give up and to always chase my dreams, always be thankful, have passion and I really thought that the author had a wonderful imagination!
