It was late at night and he knew it. Maybe it reached
midnight by now.
But there never was anything stopping him from
wandering through the glowing city nor the woods
in the suburb, no mother to reason with him, no
father to roar at him, no siblings to be sleeping
through his disappearance. Nothing at all.
He kind of misses it.
Misses being young and naive, everyone overlooks
the horrible mistakes If only you were still young.
Which, he’s not anymore, unfortunately.
He's grown old and vicious. Who could have known
right?
But he knew from long before anyone did. he knew
that the days he’ll be spending as a youngster would
be tainted with sickening guilty regret. the sounds
of laughter and splashes of water broke the silence
of the high=hilled woods he wandered through
uncaringly, maybe he should have walked around
carefully. Who knows maybe he walked into
someone’s property without even noticing.
Then the sounds of laughter and splashes of water
broke the silence of the high-hilled woods he
wandered through uncaringly, maybe he should
have walked around carefully. Who knows maybe he
walked into someone’s property without even
noticing.
But it’s not like he cares anymore. He never did.
because back then he had everything anyone
could've asked for, everyone was envious of him in
all the big and the little ways and his narcissism
grew because of it. it got to the point where he
thought one or two piercings would be forgiven by
his graceful mother. but he was unutterably wrong,
his mother was petrified wondering how would this
disturbing image of her son will go unnoticed by
her husband that holds power over her head that
threatens to break her, and she knows what will
happen to her if she did try to cover it up. so she
chose her only option…
To not try.
And it ended wonderfully with him now walking
down the streets of Tokyo for years and maybe even
longer. Who knows? Certainly, he doesn’t!
Purely from muscle memory, he guided his body
further to the house that’s coming into view from
the wood’s tree’s silhouette.
Soon a modern open house appeared. The house
would've looked quiet and dull if it wasn’t for the
party that is taking place with a bunch of teenagers
inside dancing while some were outside in the pool
playing.
He didn’t mean to but somehow the man who’s
roaming through the thorp in the night found
himself staring at the teenagers that were goofing in
the pool. Two boys looking alike that someone might
mistake them to be siblings were paired together
with one holding the other upon their shoulders as
the one who’s sitting atop the other concentrated
on aiming the obnoxious colored beach ball at the
other pair to the other side of the pool. And
speaking of the other pair, a jock looking kid with
finely muscled arms held a girl on his shoulder pads
effortlessly with no visible struggle. But the girl that
sat on top of the kid…
The man far off in the woods didn’t mean to stare
that way but something made his
mundane glassy grey eyes glued to to her. The way her
waist-length pitch-black hair swayed with the wind
and the movement caused by the big guy beneath
her, as she laughed with her unbelievably pearly
white teeth, smiles she threw at the two boy's way at
the other end of the pool, her bangs trying to shy away
her bright emerald green eyes as she cat-like looked
around her surroundings to catch the ball thrown her way
