Things I'd Have Been Better Without

On a Sunday afternoon, I wanted to call my own phone number, which was not that interesting at all. Except for the fact that I received a response.
"Hello?" I replied, a little wearily.
"Can you tell me who this is?" I was asked by a gruff male voice.
"Hello, my name is Amelia, and this is my phone number..."
"Don't call here again," the speaker said, and the line fell silent.
Curiosity, I spent the next few days attempting to forget about the call. But I couldn't, so I called again and, like the first time, received a short answer, so I tried again and again. After some time, I found out who the guy is, partially. Dylan is his name, and we now speak for brief periods of time.
Attraction, I only knew three things about Dylan, but I couldn't deny that I was drawn to him. So, even though I should've avoided talking to him or tried to find out why my and his phone numbers are the same, I didn't; instead, I simply enjoyed our time together.
One day, I tried to dial my phone number again, but it was disconnected. I tried again and again, but it was still declined. Dylan has been a huge part of my life, which I didn't know until recently, but I think life caught up with us.
