Unknown Message

Amazon invented pre-emptive delivery in March 2026, and people all around the world have been receiving parcels from their potential future-self ever since.

I received a shipment in the early hours of today. I was frightened to open it, but when I did, I saw an empty notebook with the letters S.V written on it. The letters did not seem to be memorable or significant. I couldn't understand why anyone (or, in this case, future me) would send an empty notebook.

I spent hours trying to work it out before I became frustrated, at which point I crammed the book in the back of my wardrobe. That was three years ago, and today I received my acceptance letter from my dream school, the University of Southampton. I eventually realized what my future self was up to.
