The Effect of Social Media on Teenagers

More than 40% of teenager are all the time online. There are advantages and disadvantages of social media some of the advantages that teenagers might get from social media are, contacting with new people around the world , social media can be an entertainment for most of the teenagers where they can express there self and show people their hobbies , and they can also express their self via social media. On the other hand social media have disadvantages some of them are , teenager get lazy and they wont move away from the device , teenager get addicted to social media , one of the most common disadvantage is that its not secure by getting their devices hacked.

What did you learn?

That there are a lot of advantages and disadvantage of social media. I also learned how social media could affect teenagers in a good and bad way. Through the charts she added I could conclude that there are a lot of teenagers spending their time on social media. One advantage I think was interesting is that teenagers could express their hobbies and things they like to do through social media . One of the disadvantages I think is important and happens to most of the people is that they get hacked easily because of the weak secure so I think everyone should highlight this important thing.

How will you use the information?

Make sure that my accounts are always secure and I will try to not use social media a lot because staying online for a long time makes not move from you place and this effect your body and health.
